Kew Green Hotels names commercial and development heads

Kew Green Hotels has announced the appointment of Michael Stott as new head of commercial and Simon Bullough as development director, as the hotel group looks to expand across the UK.

The two appointments are expected to increase Kew Green’s expertise as it works with investors to deliver high-performing properties.

Stott joins with 20 years of hospitality experience, having previously served as commercial director at Apex Hotels. He has also held roles at Macdonald Resorts, Whittlebury Hall and Centre Parks.

Meanwhile, Bullough was promoted to development director after consulting for Kew Green for nearly 12 months. He previously held development positions with Louvre Hotels Group, Choice Hotels Europe and Compass Hospitality

Stott said: “I’m excited to help shape the next phase of the group’s commercial journey, as the sector embraces the growing opportunities created by blending experience with evolving technologies across sales, revenue, marketing, distribution and digital.”

Bullough said: “As the hotel sector moves into the mainstream as an asset class investors are looking to a group with proven experience. There is a significant opportunity to accelerate Kew Green Hotels’ growth, build on its strong partnerships and expand the portfolio.”

David Taylor, chief executive of Kew Green Hotels, added: “We are privileged to be working with Michael and Simon, who bring a rare combination of strategic depth and hands-on execution. They are exactly the calibre of results-driven leaders to drive Kew Green Hotels forward.

“This marks a significant step forward for Kew Green Hotels, and I am confident we are building the right team to achieve our ambition of being the brand of choice amongst management companies.”

The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
