Líbere Hospitality Group has officially opened its first aparthotel in Rome, marking a further expansion into the Italian market following the company’s debut in Milan.
The new building is located in the San Lorenzo district and contains 18 units. It consists of one- and two-bedroom apartments designed for short- and medium-stay guests.
The property at Via degli Ausoni 33 is situated near Roma Termini station. This location provides transport links to Fiumicino Airport and the historic city centre.
The Spanish group currently manages more than 1,000 units internationally, as well as a company portfolio that includes more than 2,300 units across various European capitals.
The group operates using a model based on proprietary technology and urban locations. The Rome site follows the opening of a previous property in the Dergano area of Milan.
Italia Niccolò Pravettoni, head of business development at LHG, said: “Launching this business in Rome is a natural step in our expansion in Italy. It is a strategic location that fits in very well with our serviced apartment model, designed for efficient, well-connected urban stays with high-quality services.”
Antón de la Rica, co-chief executive of LHG, added: “Rome is a key market for any operator with European ambitions. This opening marks the start of our operations in the Italian capital and strengthens a presence we were already building in cities such as Milan.”
