Resident Hotels has announced it is rebranding to The Sirius Hotel Group, which the company said reflects its plans to expand with capital partners as a specialist hotel management platform developing and running prime city centre hotels.
The privately-owned independent hotel company, which owns and operates UK brand The Resident, intends to bring its portfolio to 31 hotels in the next six to 10 years.
In early 2029, it will unveil its fourth London location with The Resident Farringdon, bringing its estate to six properties across the capital, Liverpool and Edinburgh.
The business’ growth plans build on its successful conversion of four Four Points Flex hotels by Sheraton, solidifying its partnership as a Marriott International franchisee.
The firm has additionally transformed an office space to launch The Resident Edinburgh in 2024.
