Four Seasons Yachts has appointed Captain Duncan Holroyd to its senior leadership team. Holroyd, a maritime professional with experience at Holland America Line, Carnival Corporation, and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, will support the final phases of outfitting and marine operations for the company’s first yacht, Four Seasons I. The inaugural voyage of Four Seasons I is scheduled for March 20, 2026.
Captain Holroyd will work alongside Captain Kate McCue, focusing on navigation, safety, watchkeeping, and deck maintenance. His role will involve overseeing the yacht’s operations to ensure a high standard of service.
Holroyd’s previous role involved overseeing U.S. fleet operations for Lindblad Expeditions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from the University of Wales and is a graduate of Fleetwood Nautical College and Warsash Maritime Academy.
Four Seasons I will feature an all-suite, residential-style design. The yacht will include a 9,975 square feet Funnel Suite and a bespoke onboard transverse marina. A second vessel, Four Seasons II, is planned for debut in 2027.
