Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has introduced Dazzler Select, a new franchise brand aimed at independent economy lifestyle hotels, with its first location in Kissimmee, Florida.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has launched a new franchise brand, Dazzler Select by Wyndham, targeting independent hoteliers in the economy lifestyle segment. The brand is an extension of the existing Dazzler by Wyndham brand, aiming to provide independent hotel owners with access to Wyndham’s resources while allowing them to maintain their property’s unique identity.

The inaugural Dazzler Select property is the Magic Moment Resort & Kids Club in Kissimmee, Florida. This property, known for its family-oriented amenities and design, has been converted to align with the new brand. The resort is located near Orlando’s attractions and features themed rooms and interactive play areas.

Wyndham’s introduction of Dazzler Select comes in response to the presence of over 16,000 independently owned economy hotels in the U.S., which represent a significant portion of the market. The brand aims to provide these hotels with the benefits of Wyndham’s global scale, including its loyalty program and technology platforms.

In addition to the Magic Moment Resort, Wyndham has signed agreements for two more Dazzler Select hotels and is in discussions with over 25 additional developers. The company aims to open 50 Dazzler Select locations over the next five years.

The Dazzler Select brand is designed to simplify operations for hotel owners, focusing on essential services such as complimentary Wi-Fi for loyalty members, 24-hour beverage stations, and breakfast items. The brand’s model emphasizes cost-effective conversions and operational simplicity, requiring properties to maintain a guest rating of 4.0 or higher.

Wyndham’s strategy with Dazzler Select is to provide a tailored brand for the economy lifestyle segment, offering flexibility and support to independent hotel owners. The brand launch is part of Wyndham’s broader efforts to expand its presence across various hotel segments.
