Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) has partnered with The Wolseley Hospitality Group, allowing members of the GHA Discovery programme to earn and redeem rewards at its nine London restaurants.
The group’s portfolio includes The Wolseley on Piccadilly, The Wolseley City, The Delaunay, Brasserie Zédel, Colbert, Fischer’s, Soutine, Bellanger and Manzi’s. International expansion is also planned.
GHA Discovery, which covers more than 850 hotels across 100 countries, uses its own digital currency, Discovery Dollars (D$), where D$1 is equal to USD 1 (74p). Through the new partnership, members can use D$ across the Wolseley group’s venues.
The Wolseley Hospitality Group said the collaboration builds on its values of “hospitality from the heart” and reinforces its reputation for combining British heritage with European dining influences.
Chris Hartley, chief executive of GHA, said: “This partnership reflects our vision of bringing more value and recognition to our members in ways that extend beyond travel. The group’s outstanding culinary portfolio adds a new dimension to our programme.”
Dillip Rajakarier, group chief executive of Minor International, GHA’s majority shareholder, added: “This is a perfect example of our strategic vision to create seamless, rewarding experiences by connecting our diverse portfolio of world-class brands.
“By integrating The Wolseley’s iconic dining destinations into the GHA DISCOVERY ecosystem, we are not only expanding the programme’s value but also offering our members more ways to Live Local and engage with the Minor family of brands.”
