Lifestyle hotel brand The Webster has announced its official launch with properties scheduled to open in London and New York in 2026.
The first, The Webster Covent Garden, will open in London this July, with The Webster Times Square following in New York City later in the year. Both properties will be managed by Altus.
The London hotel is located on Lincoln’s Inn Fields and features 110 guestrooms designed by architecture and interior design studio Red Deer.
Meanwhile, the New York property is situated on the site of the historic Webster Hotel, formerly frequented by author Gabriel García Márquez.
The guestrooms in both the hotels utilise a neutral palette with brass and alabaster fixtures, featuring mid-century furniture and analog technology such as Marshall speakers and Jacob Jensen phones.
Additionally, public spaces in the hotels include library nooks and flexible lounges designed for communal use.
The London site will house three distinct food and beverage venues:
In New York, the hotel has partnered with hospitality group Maison Premiere to manage its dining and nightlife concepts.
The brand’s service model includes a “Complimentary Water Program” and Malin+Goetz amenities.
Cultural programming will consist of literary salons and artist residencies. Reservations for the London property are now open, with nightly rates starting at £350.
Joseph Turano, chief operating officer of The Webster, said: “Our goal is to create spaces that invite curiosity and cultivate a true sense of belonging, whether that means lingering over a meal, discovering a new book, or connecting with fellow travelers.”
