The Cranley Hotel in Kensington has been sold to private buyers for an undisclosed sum, “significantly” above the guide price.
The 39‑bedroom townhouse hotel is located on Bina Gardens, South Kensington.
The sale includes the freehold interest in three period terraced buildings with a total gross internal area of approximately 1,398 sq m (15,047 sq ft), featuring a spacious lounge, restaurant and breakfast room.
The sale was overseen by Savills on behalf of administrators from Quantuma.
Kitty Snaydon, from Savills Hotel Capital Markets, said: “Completing this hotel transaction in the first few weeks of 2026 marks a strong start to the year for the London hotel investment market.
“We anticipate more stock coming to market over the coming months as confidence continues to build, and investor appetite for high‑quality hotel assets in prime central London locations remains robust.”
She added: “The Cranley Hotel also offers strong value‑add potential, providing buyers with multiple opportunities to enhance the asset and further unlock its long term investment appeal.”
