St Pancras London, part of Autograph Collection Hotels, has completed an extensive refurbishment of its 245 rooms and suites.
The works include an overhaul of Barlow House, which spans seven floors of the hotel and contains 207 guestrooms.
The redesign was led by German designer Nora Witzigmann, who drew inspiration from the history of the building. The rooms feature deep-toned colour schemes, walnut finishes, brass details and upholstered fabrics, alongside modern technology for connectivity.
The Chambers Wing, made up of 38 suites, is also being redesigned by French designer Nicolas Daul. The suites retain period features such as high ceilings, fireplaces and large windows, combined with contemporary furniture and fittings. Bathrooms include silver fixtures and mirrors with the hotel’s signature trefoil design.
St Pancras London rebranded as part of Autograph Collection Hotels on 3 June 2025, joining a portfolio of more than 300 independent hotels worldwide. The building, a landmark of High Victorian Gothic architecture, is noted for its red-brick façade, spires and gold-leaf interiors. Since its restoration in 2011, it has played a role in the regeneration of King’s Cross.
The hotel is located above St Pancras International and King’s Cross Station, offering direct connections to London’s West End and to Paris via the Eurostar.
Ed White, general manager of St Pancras London, said: “The refurbishment marks an exciting step in St Pancras London’s journey and we can’t wait for returning and new guests alike to see it. Working with both Nora Witzigmann and Nicolas Daul has been an honour and we’re so glad they were able to bring our vision to life, celebrating the magnificent Victorian aspects of the hotel whilst also seamlessly integrating a sense of modernity.”

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
