We’ve got some really exciting news – the UP Hotel Agency team has grown!
We’ve welcomed four amazing new people. Each of them brings something unique to the team, from fresh ideas to new perspectives, and they’ve already started making a real difference.
Our team is stronger than ever, and we’re extremely excited about what’s ahead. We can’t wait to introduce them to you and see the energy and talent they bring to everything we do.

A Little About Jaimi:
I’m originally from Hertfordshire but have lived all over the UK, and even spent four years living in Australia. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve built my career in marketing across a variety of industries, including laboratories, market research, financial services, investment, and recruitment. Each role has given me a new perspective and helped me develop a well-rounded approach to digital marketing.
Hobbies & Family Life:
Outside of work, I’m a huge bookworm, last year I read 74 books! I’ve also been riding horses since I was five and now have my very own horse, which keeps me busy outside of work hours. I love to travel and explore new cultures, with recent ventures to Tunisia and Morocco. I also enjoy drawing and painting, love all things creative and a few years ago I even taught myself how to knit.
Jaimis Career Highlights:
Some of the highlights of my career include receiving a Collaboration Award at a previous investment company just eight months into the role, being promoted to Senior within that same period. I then moved into a European position managing EMEA-level campaigns across multiple countries particularly focusing on the Nordic region. I really enjoyed the challenge of working across different markets and learning the nuances of each region.
Family and personal tidbits:
I have a close-knit family who still live in Hertfordshire and I try to see them as much as I can. I have four nephews who keep me on my toes! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, we enjoy gaming, walking our two German Shepherds, and exploring new places to walk, or spending time at the yard with my horse.
Fun fact / two truths and a lie idea:
To make things extra fun, I’ll share a little game for anyone reading this: two truths and a lie about me! Can you guess which one is the lie?

A Little About Kate:
Hi, I’m Kate! I’m a Junior Web Developer here at UP!
I am originally from the United States, and recently relocated to the United Kingdom. Along the way I also took the opportunity to change career direction, stepping into a new field after originally studying Environmental Science. What I love about working in web development is the constant challenge. I enjoy digging into problems, learning as I go, and pushing myself to think in new ways every day.
Hobbies & Family Life:
I spend a lot of my downtime gaming, which is actually how I met my partner and what brought me to the UK. As a part of this, I also organise a group called ‘Girls Night’ to celebrate powerful females within my online friendship group, where we get together and host monthly virtual events.
When I’m not gaming, I’m either outdoors or getting up to something creative like painting, baking, or journaling. I’ve always enjoyed going to new places and discovering different landscapes, and moving to the UK has given me even more to explore. I’ve also started dabbling in geocaching along the way.
Kate’s Career Highlights:
I’ve been a web developer for just over a year, including 9 months here at Up. I started out mostly self-taught and have spent the past year up skilling and settling into agency life, tackling new challenges and learning on the job. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to be shouted out as employee of the month twice.
Family and personal tidbits:
This winter, my partner and I both turned 30 and each planned a surprise trip for the other, only to discover we had both booked trips to the Lake District! Each trip also included an animal-walking experience – first with llamas, then with wolves – which made the coincidence even funnier. Since then, we’ve fallen in love with the area and can’t wait to go back. The variety of landscapes, from rocky mountains to natural beaches, reminds me a bit of my home state while also making every walk feel like a new adventure.
Just for Fun: Two Truths and a Lie:
Just to keep things interesting, here’s a little game: two truths and a lie about me. Can you figure out which one is the lie?

A Little About Alex:
Hi, I’m Alex! I’m the Business Development Manager here at UP. I’m from Northampton, where I studied Popular Music and Music Production. I’d say I’m creative, ambitious, and always curious, always looking for ways to grow, both personally and professionally. Self development is a big part of who I am; I love learning new skills, reading, and finding ways to challenge myself.
Hobbies & Interests:
When I’m not at work, you’ll probably find me outdoors, exploring new places, or ticking off a hike with friends. I enjoy going to the gym, dabbling in golf (badly), and keeping music in my life through drumming and discovering new artists. I’m super family-oriented so I make sure to spend plenty of time with them where I can.
Career Highlights:
I started out in Marketing but found I really loved the buzz of tackling problems, finding solutions, and helping clients succeed. That naturally led me into Sales and Business Development in the Tech space. I’m relatively new to agency life, but I love talking all things marketing and connecting with people to understand their challenges. It’s when I feel most in my element.
Just for Fun: Two Truths and a Lie:
To keep things interesting, here’s a little game. Can you guess which one is the lie?

A Little About Kerry:
I’m originally from Worcestershire, moved to Oxfordshire at 18, and have spent the last 20 years living in rural Warwickshire.
My professional background is in finance and accounting across a variety of industries. While I’ve had some more unusual roles, such as working in hair extensions and waste disposal, most of my experience has been in logistics. It’s a field that really suits my strengths, as I enjoy problem-solving, love a good puzzle, and take real satisfaction in reconciling and making things balance.
Hobbies & Family Life:
Alongside my career, I took time out to raise my family, who are all football fanatics, as am I.
Six years ago, as my daughter’s passion for the game grew, I set up a girls’ development team to play in a boys’ development league. What started as a small initiative quickly gained momentum. Within a year, we had grown to two teams, and today I’m proud to support the development of over 40 girls, all eager to progress in football. I was inspired by the opportunities available to boys and felt it was time girls had the same. Little did I know that the Lionesses would go on to win the Euros shortly after, inspiring even more young players along the way.
Kerrys Career Highlights:
Some of my proudest achievements come from my volunteering work within the community. I’ve helped raise over £15,000 through local fundraising events, supported young and vulnerable families as they get started, and assisted a small market business during Covid by developing an online ordering system. This ensured continued access to fresh food for many people during a challenging time.
Family and personal tidbits:
My husband and I have built a large, lively family, which is quite a contrast to the smaller families we both came from. We’re lucky to have extended family living nearby, and our six cousins are more like siblings, creating a close-knit and supportive environment.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
