Hotel operator Samko Real Estate Holdings has joined the official list of The International Stock Exchange (TISE) as it prepares to elect for UK real estate investment trust (REIT) status.
The London-based group holds a portfolio of seven hospitality assets across the south-east of England currently valued at approximately £62m.
The listing of 61,800,001 ordinary shares by way of introduction provides the company with access to public capital markets to support its acquisition strategy.
By electing for REIT status, the company will be required to distribute at least 90% of qualifying property rental profits to shareholders each quarter.
The current portfolio includes branded hotels, event venues and leisure assets, such as the Crowne Plaza London Kingston and Warren House Hotel in Kingston-upon-Thames.
Other holdings include The River Club and Stanhill Court Hotel in Surrey, alongside Ravens Ait and Hampton Suites.
Income is primarily generated through lease arrangements with operating counterparties and is supported by asset-level earnings across the group properties.
In addition, the board of directors has set a target of £400m in assets under management by 2028 through acquisitions and asset management.
