Hospitality management firm Rockingham Partners has been appointed to oversee operations at Ibis Budget Leicester and Ibis Budget Derby, marking a significant new partnership with hotel ownership group BZP Hotels.
The move sees Rockingham Partners continuing its strategic growth across the UK by supporting hotel owners with tailored, on-the-ground expertise in “sustainable and guest-first operations”.
It follows the group’s recent appointment to the New Forest Collection and represents a new chapter for the Ibis Budget sites under BZP ownership.
Founded in 2013 by Tony Zucker and Pervinder Bhalla, BZP Hotels Ltd owns and operates the two Ibis Budget properties.
The group is known for its commitment to sustainable infrastructure that improves both environmental impact and cost-efficiency.
BZP Hotels has already implemented a range of eco-friendly initiatives, with solar panels across both sites, generating over 70,000 kWh of clean energy annually, water-saving measures in all bathrooms and motion-sensitive LED lighting.
Both locations feature EV charging stations, and high-efficiency heat pumps minimise reliance on traditional heating.
These projects have helped cut electricity bills by up to 20% per year, while making progress toward broader sustainability goals.
