Piccolino opens first hotel venue at Hilton London Tower Bridge

Italian restaurant brand Piccolino has opened its first venue in a hotel, launching a new site at the Hilton London Tower Bridge.

The restaurant, part of the privately owned Individual Restaurants group, marks what the company described as “an exciting new chapter” in its brand evolution. The move into the hotel sector follows a partnership with Hilton.

The Hilton restaurant has been designed exclusively for its location, with interiors inspired by traditional Italian dining and what Individual Restaurants calls “quiet luxury” featuring earthy tones, stone surfaces, a terrazzo-style floor, velvet seating and a wraparound bar finished in stone. An al fresco terrace also offers outdoor seating.

Piccolino’s menu includes dishes with what the company describes as a modern, luxurious twist on Italian classics, such as starter Burrata Speciale – a trio of burrata-based dishes, one with Oscietra caviar – and handmade pasta dishes such as carbonara, genovese and aragosta. Desserts include tiramisu and pistachio panna cotta.

In addition, the restaurant offers an “exclusive” breakfast menu with Italian-inspired options alongside a continental selection, as well as a wine list, cocktails and soft drinks.

David Carroll, chief business officer at Individual Restaurants, said: “This is an exciting new chapter in the brand evolution for Piccolino as we enter the hotel sector for the first time. This is reflected through the elegant interiors in this new venue, exuding an effortless luxury and giving a nod to traditional Italian restaurants through a modern lens that lends itself perfectly to city dining at such an iconic London landmark.”

Piccolino said the restaurant is intended to appeal to a wide mix of diners including hotel guests, tourists and professionals, with an open-plan design and both intimate and casual seating options.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
