Native Places chief executive Olivia Immesi has announced she will leave after five years with the company.
During her tenure, she oversaw the expansion of the brand into a prominent UK lifestyle aparthotel operator.
A key milestone during her leadership was the acquisition of the business by Numa. Immesi managed the subsequent integration that established the Native by Numa brand while maintaining the group’s daily operations.
Prior to joining Native Places in 2021, Immesi held senior leadership roles across the London hospitality sector.
She also served as general manager at The Curtain Hotel and Members’ Club, and spent nearly six years at Ace Hotel, where she launched the brand’s first European site.
Her earlier career included six years as director of sales at The Hoxton Hotel and a business development role at Malmaison. Immesi has not yet confirmed her next appointment.
In a LinkedIn post, Immesi said: “After an important chapter leading Native, I’ve decided to step back from the CEO role. The past few years have been hugely rewarding. Together with Native founder Guy Nixon and a brilliant team, we grew Native into one of the UK’s most distinctive lifestyle-led aparthotel brands.
“One of the biggest milestones was the acquisition by NUMA and supporting the integration that brought the Native by Numa brand to life. Guiding the business through that period, while keeping momentum day to day, is something I’m very proud of.”
She added: “With the next phase now established, it feels like the right time for me to step aside. I’m incredibly grateful to the team, investors and partners who contributed to this chapter. Strong, trusted relationships have always been central to the business, and I’m proud of the collaborative approach we built together.”
