Nanak Hotels has acquired The Kings Court Hotel near Alcester in Warwickshire for £2.75m, marking the company’s first deal in the region.
Located on a 4.2-acre site between Alcester and Redditch, the 60-bedroom property began as a 17th Century farmhouse and has since been expanded into a hospitality business with a mix of traditional and modern public areas, an on-site pub and brasserie, and event and conference facilities for up to 130 guests.
Nanak Hotels, which operates a growing portfolio of properties across the UK, plans to refurbish and reposition the hotel while maintaining its established customer base and operational performance.
Harpreet Saluja, director at Nanak Hotels, said: “We’re excited to bring Kings Court Hotel into our portfolio as our first acquisition in Warwickshire. It’s a business with a strong foundation and loyal customer base, and we see great potential to enhance and evolve the hotel for the future while preserving its heritage.”
The former owner, who ran several hospitality businesses in the area, said: “Kings Court has been at the heart of our working lives for over 30 years. It’s been a privilege to grow it into the hotel it is today.
“As we now retire, we are pleased to see it pass into the hands of a new owner who shares our passion for hospitality and has the vision to take it even further.”
Josh Sullivan and Peter Brunt from Colliers’ hotels team, who oversaw the sale, added: “The sale of Kings Court Hotel attracted strong interest thanks to its size, location, and trading performance. We’re proud to have completed the transaction with Nanak Hotels and look forward to seeing how they develop the asset in the years ahead.”

The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
