Hospitality brand Mason and Fifth has partnered with London developer Frank Capital to open its fourth site, a 56-studio guesthouse in Belsize Park.
The project involves the restoration of a red brick manor house. The property, originally designed as a guesthouse, is scheduled to open on 18 May 2026 following successful launches in Primrose Hill, Bermondsey and Westbourne Park.
Mason and Fifth Design Studio worked with interior designers Holloway Li, architecture firm New-works and contractor Arureum on the project. The building features timber flooring, solid wood furniture and kitchenettes constructed with limestone worktops sourced from rejected stone to reduce waste.
The property includes communal kitchens, guest lounges and a landscaped private garden. Its design prioritises mechanical fixings over adhesives to allow for future disassembly and reuse, following the brand’s focus on circular design principles.
Founded in 2020, the company expanded its portfolio in 2025 with its Westbourne Park site. The Belsize Park opening precedes planned expansion across London and other regions in the 21st Century.
Local makers and artists were commissioned for the interior styling to support the brand’s community-led operational model.
Founder of Mason and Fifth, Ben Prevezer, said: “Mason and Fifth, Belsize Park marks an exciting new chapter for us in one of our favourite areas in London. Each building we open is thoughtfully shaped by its neighbourhood, and we hope to be a welcome addition to this special London community.”
