Marriott Bonvoy has signed a strategic partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC) that will see the travel loyalty platform become the ICC’s Official Accommodation Partner through to 2029.The agreement covers all ICC men’s global events over the next four years, including the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka, the ICC World Test Championship Final 2027 in the UK, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
It also includes the ICC World Test Championship Final 2029 in the UK and the ICC Champions Trophy 2029 in India.
Marriott International said the partnership would see its hotels used to host teams, officials and travelling fans across tournament markets, where it operates more than 450 properties. Fans attending ICC events will also be able to book stays through official ICC travel packages.
The deal adds Marriott Bonvoy to the ICC’s commercial partner portfolio at a time when the governing body is seeking to expand the off-field experience around its major events, including travel, hospitality and destination-led offerings.
Marriott Bonvoy and the ICC said they plan to collaborate on hospitality experiences at selected venues, as well as cricket-related content and local fan engagement activities in key markets such as India, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
