Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding have announced a merger aimed at consolidating their operations under the Marjan brand. The merger seeks to integrate real estate development, hospitality operations, and lifestyle experiences in Ras Al Khaimah.
The newly formed entity will function as a unified organization, which is expected to become one of the largest real estate developers in the United Arab Emirates. The merger aligns with the goals of RAK Vision 2030, a strategic plan to enhance the Emirate’s livability and economic opportunities. The plan includes creating high-value jobs and developing national capabilities.
Future developments under the Marjan umbrella include projects such as Al Marjan Island, RAK Central, Marjan Beach, and the Jebel Jais masterplan. These projects aim to improve the quality of life for residents and enhance travel and leisure experiences. Additionally, the merger supports the goal of attracting 3.5 million annual visitors and achieving nearly 20,000 hotel keys in Ras Al Khaimah.
The merger is positioned to reinforce Ras Al Khaimah’s status as a hub for lifestyle and investment, contributing to the Emirate’s long-term strategic objectives.
