Stock Exchange Hotel has secured planning permission to open 95 additional suites in Manchester city centre, with the site expected to open in early 2027.
The development, named Stock Exchange Suites, is located opposite the existing building in the city. The project will be designed by interior design studio Autoban and operated by Troo Hospitality.
The expansion features three suite types across four floors: the Arthur Hope, Bradshaw and Norfolk suites. These will all include flexible configurations to accommodate larger groups and private lounges.
The ground floor will house a 1,000sq ft traders lounge for guests of both properties, with the space functioning as a social hub for co-working and refreshments, supported by a small cafe and bar.
New wellness facilities are planned for the site, including a boutique gym, treatment rooms, and steam and sauna rooms.
The development will also provide three additional meeting rooms and 48 car parking spaces on the lower floors to improve guest access.
Winston Zahra, co-owner of the Stock Exchange and founder of Troo Hospitality said: “We’re delighted to share more details of what’s to come at Stock Exchange Suites at such an exciting time for the city. An exceptional start to the year has only strengthened our belief in the opportunity to grow.
“Stock Exchange Suites is a natural next step – allowing us to enhance our offer and to meet demand for hosting groups and guests from across the globe. This expansion reflects both our confidence in the market and our continued commitment to investing in Manchester’s world-class hospitality offering.”

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
