Leonardo Hotels has announced it has acquired Hotel Saint in London’s Aldgate for an undisclosed sum, its 11th property in the capital.
The hotel was sold by an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management, concluding its management by Highgate Hospitality and positioning it for a rebrand as Leonardo Hotel London Aldgate.
The building contains 272 bedrooms and suites that include free Wi-Fi, dedicated workspaces and contemporary amenities, with some rooms providing city views and additional relaxation space.
Its dining offerings include The Cardinal Bar and Kitchen, the hotel’s all-day restaurant open to both hotel guests and the public, and the Jin Bo Law rooftop bar on the 14th floor.
The hotel also features a fully equipped gym and five flexible meeting rooms designed for training sessions, private dining and small events for up to 80 covers.
Leonardo Hotels, which runs 60 centrally located properties with more than 11,000 rooms in the UK and Ireland including in Manchester, Edinburgh and Liverpool, said the acquisition forms part of the broader expansion strategy of Israeli parent company Fattal Hotels.
