Kali Hotel tops out at Hollywood Park in Inglewood

KPC Development Company has revealed that the Kali Hotel and Rooftop, Autograph Collection, has reached a key milestone with the completion of its structural frame.

Located at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, the 300-room is a $300m (£221m) development and is the only one permitted under the Hollywood Park Specific Plan. It is scheduled to open in September 2026.

The milestone was marked with the ceremonial raising of a steel beam. Windows have already been installed up to the third floor, with work advancing on higher levels, while concrete has been poured for the 12th-floor rooftop and helistop.

Local officials and representatives from builder Clayco, Hollywood Park and KPC attended the topping out ceremony.

The hotel will operate under Crescent Hotels and Resorts as part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, which brings together independent premium hotels under its Bonvoy loyalty programme.

Plans for the site include 300 rooms, 34 suites, a spa, pool and yoga deck, fitness centre, and nearly 20,000 sq ft of meeting and events space. A 12th-floor restaurant and bar will offer rooftop dining and views across Inglewood.

Hollywood Park, developed by Los Angeles Rams owner E Stanley Kroenke, is billed as the largest urban mixed-use development under construction in the western US. The 300-acre project is already home to SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater, with Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum nearby.

The scheme is expanding to include Hollywood Park Studios, a new film and production facility, which will serve as the International Broadcast Center for the 2028 global sporting event hosted in Los Angeles. NFL Los Angeles has been designated the Main Press Center for the same event.

Kali P Chaudhuri, founder and chairman of KPC, said: “Kali Hotel represents KPC’s inaugural luxury project in Los Angeles, with more developments planned for the market. We broke ground less than 11 months ago on this project driven by vision and passion. Today’s ceremony demonstrates substantial progress on what is the only hospitality destination of its kind in Greater Los Angeles.”
