The hotel, known as Kamala Castle, will be restored and relaunched with 30 rooms. The property, originally built in the 1940s, will maintain its Art Deco architectural style and vintage detailing.
The project is a collaboration between IHCL and JK Urbanscapes Developers Limited. The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, a fitness center, a heated swimming pool, and treatment rooms. These amenities are designed to cater to both leisure and business travelers.
Mussoorie, a well-known hill station, has become a year-round destination due to improved connectivity. The region is noted for its colonial architecture and scenic views of the Himalayas. Popular attractions in the area include Mall Road, Kempty Falls, Company Garden, Mussoorie Lake, and Bhatta Falls.
