Grantley Hall, a five-star North Yorkshire hotel, has appointed Jakub Joubert as its new executive housekeeper.
Joubert will bring a “wealth” of luxury hospitality experience, including his recent three-year tenure as executive head housekeeper at The Londoner.
In this role he was responsible for day-to-day housekeeping operations, as well as the training and development of staff.
His career has also included key roles overseas, including managing the housekeeping department of an “ultra-high-net-worth” private residence in Saudi Arabia, and preparing the housekeeping operations for the post-Covid reopening of Palm Heights Hotels in the Cayman Islands.
Lewis Hunter, director of operations at Grantley Hall, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Jakub Joubert to the Grantley Hall team.
“With his extensive international experience and proven leadership in luxury hospitality, he brings fresh ideas and a deep commitment to excellence. Jakub’s appointment strengthens our leadership team as we continue to elevate the guest experience across every aspect of the hotel.”
