The Graduate by Hilton Cambridge hotel has been placed on the market with pricing expectations in excess of £60m-£65m.
Property agent CBRE is managing the sale on behalf of the owner, real estate investment manager AJ Capital Partners.
The 148-key hotel occupies a site on the banks of the River Cam. The property underwent a multi-million-pound refurbishment in 2021, which included updates to guest rooms, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, and 430 square metres of event space.
The hotel includes a full-service restaurant, a café, and a bar. Located within walking distance of University of Cambridge colleges and the Fitzwilliam Museum, the site also features 151 parking spaces.
Investors are being offered the long leasehold for the asset. CBRE said the city remains a “high-performing hospitality market due to demand from the university, global research institutions, and tourism”.
Head of UK hotels at CBRE Miles Auger said: “Graduate Cambridge represents an opportunity to acquire a recently refurbished hotel in one of the UK’s most competitive and internationally recognised markets. Given Cambridge’s demand profile and limited future supply, we expect to see strong interest from domestic and global capital.”
