Wyboston Lakes Resort has announced the appointment of Dan McDonald as business development manager to drive growth within the Conference and Training sector of the business.
McDonald has more than eight years of experience as a hospitality professional, mostly recently as sales manager at Carden Park Hotel. He started his business development career in corporate golf before transitioning into hospitality and events sales.
Wyboston Lakes Resort is located near the A1, M1 and A421 roads, with rail links providing 40-minute journeys from London and access to Luton and Stansted airports in about 45 minutes.
The site includes two venues – the Woodlands Event Centre and the Willows Training Centre – offering a range of facilities, spaces and price points. Together, they house 65 conference, training and syndicate rooms, the largest accommodating over 600 delegates theatre-style, and provide more than 400 bedrooms.
Leisure amenities on site include a health and fitness club, an 18-hole golf course and a Pinseekers driving range.
McDonald said: “Joining the team at Wyboston Lakes Resort is a very exciting opportunity and I’m going to enjoy using all my experience in contributing to further success.”
