Cycas Hospitality merged with its parent company Vertiq Capital on 31 March 2026 to form a new entity, Vertiq Hospitality Partners.
The group is expanding its European operations, adding more than 400 rooms across the UK and France this year. Further openings are expected in the coming months.
Based in Amsterdam and London, the company manages a portfolio of more than 35 hotels and 6,000 keys across eight countries. The portfolio includes properties in London, Paris and Amsterdam.
Assets under management include the 161-room Bankside Hotel on London’s South Bank and the 237-room 25Hours Hotel Paris Terminus Nord.
The company operates across various sectors, from luxury to limited service and extended stay. It works with international brands and also manages independent hotels.
All employees from Vertiq Capital and Cycas Hospitality have moved to the new company. The group stated the transition would ensure continuity for staff, partners and guests.
Chief executive Erik Jacobs said: “We’re excited to announce Vertiq Hospitality Partners following an internal merger as we set out to build a pan-European operating partner business in the hospitality investment space.
“The combined group brings together Vertiq Capital’s investment and asset management expertise with Cycas’s operational strength and infrastructure, creating a powerful vehicle from which we can accelerate growth across Europe.”
Jacobs added: “At Vertiq we create partnerships with owners through a performance-driven operational approach that maximises asset value and delivers strong risk adjusted returns. We also pursue strategic joint ventures and co-investments, increasing our alignment with our investment partners.
“Bringing both teams and experiences together in one company allows us to draw on decades of experience across hotel operations, asset management and real estate investment, underpinned by a disciplined, data-driven approach to performance and value creation. We are confident that this merger will herald a new era of success.”

The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
