Chedi Hospitality has announced the promotion of Aditya Jain to chief development officer, placing responsibility for the group’s global development strategy under an executive who has been closely involved in its international expansion.
Jain, who has held a series of senior development roles within the hospitality group, will oversee development across hotels, resorts and branded residences. His remit includes a planned return to the US market, alongside continued focus on Asia and Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Based in London, Jain has worked with the executive team on hotel and residential partnerships across Asia, EMEA and the Gulf, contributing to what the company describes as a selective approach to international growth. He has also been involved in shaping Chedi Hospitality’s positioning in key markets.
During his tenure, Jain led the creation of The Chedi Private Residences as a standalone business line, expanding the brand into branded residential projects alongside hotels and resorts. The group has since pursued projects spanning heritage properties, resorts and so-called slow-living destinations.
Jain has more than 10 years of experience in international real estate and hospitality development and holds academic qualifications in real estate and construction economics. His work has focused on evaluating and structuring development projects across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
Stephan Schupbach, president and group chief executive of Chedi Hospitality, said: “Aditya has played a decisive role in securing key strategic partnerships and in establishing the Chedi Private Residences as a standalone development field. In his new role, he will also take responsibility for the further international positioning of the brand, including our strategic return to the U.S. market.”
Jain added: “Development, for me, means taking responsibility for the brand expansion as well as taking responsibility for our partners and for the context of each project.”

Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
