The Mour Hotel in Annesley, near Nottingham, has been brought to market by administrators at Begbies Traynor for an asking price of £6m.
The boutique hotel, which is located near Junction 27 of the M1, contains 92 ensuite bedrooms across five floors, a bar, a restaurant, a fitness suite, and function spaces for 150 guests. The property also includes an outdoor terrace and a private car park.
While the hotel currently operates independently under a general manager, Christie and Co, who has been appointed to market the hotel’s sale, states that new owners could introduce a brand to increase turnover and the profile of the business.
Joint administrators Bob Maxwell and Julian Pitts have called for interested parties to bid on the hotel by 22 May.
Matt Hill, senior broker at Christie and Co, said: “The Mour Hotel is a landmark hotel and will be a great addition to any hotelier’s portfolio. There are a number of opportunities with this asset due to its size, location and purpose-built facilities.
“We have already received a number of enquiries on the hotel and would urge any further interested parties to get in touch as soon as possible.”
