King Street Aparthotel named finalist in Scottish Hospitality Awards 2026

King Street Aparthotel has been shortlisted for the Boutique Hotel of the Year title at the 9th Scottish Hospitality Awards 2026.

The 15-room property, situated in a restored building on King Street, is one of several businesses selected for the final by organisers Oceanic Awards.

The site features individual suites that combine original architectural features with modern interiors. Managing director Neil Munday founded the business with a focus on design-led accommodation and heritage restoration.

It also uses local suppliers and collaborates with independent businesses in Stirling, whilst providing support to local charities and artists.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Glasgow on 17 June 2026. The awards recognise excellence across the Scottish hospitality sector, including hotels, restaurants, and bars.

Members of the public can vote for the finalists online until the date of the ceremony. The category for boutique hotels is one of 19 areas being contested this year.

Neil Munday said: “We’re incredibly proud to be recognised as a finalist. For us, boutique is about more than aesthetics, it’s about creating a meaningful, memorable experience. From restoring a historic building to supporting our community and delivering thoughtful design, everything we do is centred around offering something truly special.

“Every vote helps amplify what independent, design-led hospitality can achieve. We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from our guests and the local community.”

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
