The freehold of Bron Eifion Country House Hotel in Criccieth, North Wales, has been brought to market at a guide price of £1.7m.
It comes as the current owners of the 19th Century mansion have announced their retirement after two decades of operating the site as a wedding venue.
Built in 1883 for slate magnate John E Greaves, the four-star hotel features 17 en-suite bedrooms, a detached four-bedroom bungalow, and separate staff accommodation. The property also includes a vaulted Great Hall and pine panelling.
Within the five-acre site are gardens, woodland, and two helipads, and the site is licensed for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, with two function rooms catering for up to 150 guests.
