Hotel du Vin Henley has completed a £4.5m renovation of its Grade II listed brewery site.
The project is part of a five-year investment programme by the lifestyle brand to update its heritage properties across the UK.
All 43 guest rooms were redesigned by designer Anita Rosato to include Arts and Crafts influences and mid-century accents.
Work included the creation of a new front lounge for guests and residents, alongside the relocation of the reception area.
Three meeting rooms received technical upgrades and new lighting to reference the industrial history of the 17th Century building.
The hotel bistro was also refreshed as part of the works, following a previous full refurbishment in 2018.
External renovations to the building facade are ongoing, with further improvements to the courtyard scheduled for spring.
Rosato said: “Henley offered a wonderful opportunity to connect the building’s rich history with a fresh, modern approach while reflecting Hotel du Vin’s unique DNA and wine-first ethos. Our goal was to create spaces that feel intimate and distinctly local. Each room has its own personality, ensuring guests experience both comfort and a real sense of place.”
Regional operations director, Richard Lockstone, added: “This refurbishment is a proud moment for the hotel and has garnered much attention from the local community. We’re happy that we’ve been able to breathe new life into the property while retaining the character that makes it so special to so many in Henley-on-Thames.”

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
