Two Delta Hotels by Marriott properties in Newcastle and Preston have been brought to market.
The four-star Delta Hotels by Marriott Newcastle Gateshead, located on Marconi Way near the Metrocentre, features 150 bedrooms, a bar, a restaurant, and a leisure centre.
The property underwent a full refurbishment in 2023 and has been operating under its current franchise agreement since May 2025.
The second property, Delta Hotels by Marriott Preston, is a Victorian manor house situated within 11 acres of parkland on the outskirts of the city.
The full-service hotel comprises 149 bedrooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a leisure club featuring a gym, swimming pool, and spa. Like the Newcastle site, the Preston hotel was refurbished in 2023 and has operated under a franchise agreement since August 2025.
Both hotels are being offered on an “offers invited” basis. The sale represents a rare opportunity to acquire high-capacity, branded assets in established regional hubs.
The properties remain operational under their existing management and franchise structures during the sale process, which is being handled by Christie and Co.
David Lee, regional director for hotels at Christie and Co, said: “Opportunities to buy hotels of this stature are rare, therefore we expect significant interest. We encourage well-funded buyers to get in touch to understand the investment opportunity on offer.”
