Over 50 restaurants and hotels join Help Out Hospitality campaign

More than 50 hotels, restaurants, bars and hospitality suppliers across the UK have launched a new campaign aimed at boosting customer numbers during the traditionally quieter winter months.

The ‘Help Out Hospitality’ initiative will run from January until the end of March 2026, bringing together venues across England, Scotland and Wales to offer discounted meals, drinks and overnight stays.

The campaign comes as hospitality businesses face continued pressure from rising food prices, higher wage bills and ongoing supply chain challenges, making it harder to balance affordability for customers with financial sustainability.

Operators say margins have been squeezed by double-digit price rises on staples including meat, fresh produce and grocery items, while labour costs have increased as firms compete to retain staff.

The scheme is being led by UK food and drink procurement and purchasing specialist The Full Range, which has coordinated suppliers and producers to support participating venues. More than 100 offers are available nationwide, promoted through a new commission-free online platform designed to drive direct bookings.

Special deals include reduced hotel room rates to encourage domestic tourism, alongside food and beverage discounts and family dining offers intended to ease household budgets.

Barry Knight, director of The Full Range, said: “By leveraging our unique position in the marketplace, we’ve been able to negotiate a support package across a wide range of suppliers and manufacturers, which allow our partner restaurants to run promotions throughout the quieter early months, in turn, encouraging diners to eat out and sustain footfall at a particularly vulnerable time for hospitality which benefits all areas of the supply chain.

“By involving suppliers in the process, we can drive meaningful change – generating discounts at the beginning of the process while removing commission on the other end; a real win / win for the industry, at the same time satisfying consumer demand for great value deals.”

The scheme is open to restaurants, hotels, producers, suppliers and manufacturers across the UK, with no participation fees or commissions. Bookings are made directly with venues, allowing businesses to retain as much revenue as possible.

Hospitality groups already signed up include Turas Hotels in Scotland, Original Collection Hotels across the UK and Mosaic Pub Group in England, alongside a range of independent operators.

Ian Griebenow, group operations manager at Original Collection, added: “Hospitality businesses continue to face significant pressure, particularly through the quieter winter months, and initiatives like Help Out Hospitality provide genuine, practical support at a time when it’s most needed.”

Participating venues also include The Three Chimneys on the Isle of Skye, Douglas Hotel on the Isle of Arran, the Pierhouse Hotel in Argyll, Harbourmaster in Wales, New Forest Inn in Hampshire, Oatlands Park Hotel in Surrey, Park Regis Birmingham and Inglenook Group.

The campaign takes inspiration from the UK government’s ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was used more than 100 million times and delivered over £522m in support to hospitality businesses nationwide.
