QHotels Collection appoints two new GMs in Cheshire

The QHotels Collection has announced the appointment of two new general managers at its Cheshire properties, naming hospitality leaders Kerry Allen at Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa and Katie Herbert at Park Royal Hotel and Spa.

Allen, who previously held senior operational roles at Crewe Hall, returns to the property after serving as interim general manager at Park Royal. Her earlier posts at the historic Crewe hotel included bar and afternoon tea manager and restaurant manager. She has also worked in F&B and operations at DoubleTree by Hilton, and completed a Level 4 hospitality management programme with the group.

Crewe Hall underwent a £1m refurbishment last year, including upgrades across the resort and the opening of the Sheridan Bar, a Moët and Chandon-branded venue. The group said Allen’s appointment supports plans to build on this investment and maintain the hotel’s position in the region.

Allen said: “Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa feels like home. I know the team and the property very well, and I’m excited to continue developing the guest experience further, introducing exciting initiatives such as a new restaurant in the Old Hall and our very own branded afternoon tea.

“My focus is ensuring every guest leaves with lasting memories, while also driving the property’s growth and success.”

Meanwhile, Herbert steps into the general manager role at Park Royal after holding senior operational posts within the group and at other hospitality firms, including cluster management for Stratford Manor and DoubleTree by Hilton Stratford. She has previously worked in the Cheshire area and will oversee both corporate and leisure business development.

Herbert added: “I am excited to strengthen relationships with our corporate clients and deliver a genuine home-from-home experience for leisure guests.”

The group said the appointments reflect its focus on internal career development and continued investment across its portfolio. It added that both properties are expected to pursue further growth under their new leadership, supported by ongoing refurbishment and service initiatives.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
