    HSMAI DC Announces Its Annual State of the Industry Program – Image Credit HSMAI   

The Washington, D.C., chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International today invited hospitality professionals from throughout the metropolitan area to attend its annual State of the Industry program Aug. 21 at the Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf. 

“This is a pivotal opportunity for area hospitality sales, marketing and revenue-management professionals to gain insights on trends and figures that will impact their 2026 plans and budgets,” said Jeremy Huvard, regional director of sales and marketing for Donohoe Hospitality Services and HSMAI DC chapter president. 

The program will feature Jessica Carey, Knowland by Cendyn vice president, customer operations; Richard Golinowski, Washington Dulles International Airport vice president and airport manager; Michele Gordon, Amadeus vice president, sales – business intelligence (North America); Jennifer Hill, Kalibri senior vice president, commercial strategy; and Robin McClain, Destination DC chief marketing officer. 

Registration and a networking reception will begin Aug. 21 at 4 p.m. Early bird cost is $85 for HSMAI DC members, $100 for nonmembers and $40 for full-time students. After Aug. 10, the cost will be $100 for members, $140 for nonmembers and $50 for full-time students. Click HERE to register. 

Each attendee is asked to bring a new backpack appropriate for middle school students for donation to at-risk DMV pupils who face returning to school without the necessary supplies. 

The State of the Industry event will be hosted by Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf and cosponsored by Amadeus, Destination DC, Dulles International Airport, Kalibri, Knowland by Cendyn, Tambourine and RDR PR LLC.
